The Electronic Somali Sports Federation (ESSF) proudly hosted a successful PUBG Mobile Online Tournament exclusively for African member countries of the International Esports Federation (IESF) on April 19, 2025. The event marked a significant step toward strengthening regional esports collaboration and promoting competitive gaming across the continent.
Fifteen African nations participated in the high-energy tournament, showcasing talent and teamwork from across the region. The participating countries included: Benin, Cameroon, Congo, Djibouti, DR Congo, Ghana, Guinea, Madagascar, Mauritania, Mauritius, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Somalia, and Tunisia.
After an intense day of virtual battles and strategic gameplay, the final rankings were as follows:
- 1st Place – Eagle Claws
- 2nd Place – Somalia 4 Ever
- 3rd Place – Tunisia Team
The tournament was held entirely online, enabling wide participation and accessibility, and was praised for its smooth execution and high level of competition.
